The principles of truth and honesty are recognized as fundamental to Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv’s academic community. We expect all members, including faculty and students, to uphold these principles to protect the integrity of academic standards. Academic integrity encompasses a commitment to honesty, responsibility, and respect in all academic endeavors. Academic dishonesty includes but is not limited to plagiarism, cheating, falsification of data, unauthorized collaboration, and use of Artificial Intelligence tools outside of the limits of the Class AI Statement included in the course syllabus. Plagiarism is defined as the use of ideas, words, organization, or any other material derived from another source without proper acknowledgment.

To promote academic integrity, faculty members will provide clear guidelines for assignments and assessments and will supervise academic work to encourage honest effort. Students are expected to complete all academic work independently, without giving or receiving unauthorized aid.

Consequences for academic dishonesty may include failure of specific assignments or an entire course. Flagrant or repeated violations of academic honesty will result in disciplinary action, which may include expulsion from the College.

Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv is committed to supporting students in upholding academic integrity. We provide resources and support services to help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary for honest academic work. It is our collective responsibility to foster a culture of integrity and excellence in teaching and learning.
