With the approval of the supervisor, an employee may participate in Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv (College) governance and planning through membership in College committees, councils, taskforces, and/or work groups and in College volunteer opportunities occurring during regular College business hours (such as Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv Foundation Scholarship Auction and Holiday Food Basket.) Employees will be paid for supervisor-approved participation in these activities.Ìý

With the approval of the supervisor, the College will also provide up to 4 hours of paid off-campus volunteer service leave for each fall and spring semester for 501(c)3 or non-profit organization (such as Habitat for Humanity and United Way), as long as no compensation is received from the other organization.

Off-campus volunteer service leave is not considered hours worked for purposes of calculating overtime.
