If you wish to transfer Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv credits to another institution, youÌýshould closely follow the Michigan Transfer Agreement.ÌýYou should also maintain contact with the institution in which they intend to transfer to, as that institution has control over which credits they will accept.Ìý

Most police academies in Michigan are operated byÌýcommunity colleges. Some of the larger departmentsÌýin the state, such as the Wayne County Sheriff’sÌýOffice or Detroit Police Department also operate theirÌýown academies.

Tuition for the Police academy is a flat fee based on either the student or the sponsor’s residency.Ìý Students currently employed by an agency who is sponsoring the student will be charged based on the residency of the agency.Ìý Students who are not currently employed by an agency and are self-pay are charged based on the student’s residency as outlined in the Tuition and Residency policy.
