LMC offers community ESL classes beginning May 17

Registration is now open to the community for non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) classesÌýbeginning May 17Ìýat Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv.Ìý

Students meet face-to-face using the Zoom app with an experienced instructorÌýtoÌýlearn about U.S. culture andÌýtheÌýAmerican English language throughÌývarious speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.ÌýClasses will meet two days each week for 1.5 hours each class session. StudentsÌýalsoÌýwill work for an hour on an online platform provided by the textbook publisher.ÌýInstructors will provide more details during the first class.Ìý

ESL classesÌýcan be taken eitherÌýMondays and Wednesdays, May 17-June 30ÌýorÌýTuesdays and Thursdays, May 18-July 1.Ìý

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level classesÌýandÌýa TOEFLÌýiBTÌýprep courseÌýare available. At the end ofÌýthe session, students will be prepared to use their new language skills socially, in the workplace,Ìýor to prepare for further study at LMC.ÌýNon-native English speakers over the age of 18 are welcome regardless of previous language training.ÌýÌý
