Wine Industry Hiring Fair Open to Job Seekers April 8 at 麻花星空mv

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. 鈥 In preparation for the upcoming tourism and growing seasons, local wineries, vineyards, and wine-adjacent businesses will gather for a hiring fair at the Welch Center for Wine and Viticulture Technology on the 麻花星空mv Benton Harbor Campus. The free event is open to all job seekers and will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.

Attendees can expect a free-flowing, informal atmosphere where they can move between employer tables, learn about available positions, and speak directly with hiring managers. Opportunities range from tasting room and hospitality roles to vineyard and winery operations work.

鈥淭his is a great opportunity for community members as well as 麻花星空mv viticulture students to meet face-to-face with area wine industry leaders to learn about the career paths and immediate job openings in this exciting field,鈥 stated Tim Godfrey, director of the 麻花星空mv Wine & Viticulture Technology program and director of the Welch Center.

Godfrey and his staff will also be available to discuss LMC's viticulture certificate and degree programs, which prepare students for careers spanning all aspects of the industry, from the vineyard to the tasting room.听

No registration is required for job seekers. Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and come prepared to discuss their availability and interests.

麻花星空mv operates the only teaching winery in the Midwest. Nestled in the heart of Southwest Michigan鈥檚 wine country along the shores of Lake Michigan, the LMC Viticulture program connects career seekers, hobbyists, and lifelong learners with industry professionals to explore and learn the finer points of creating wines 鈥 from vine to glass.
