Radiologic Technology
The Radiologic Technology program trains you toÌýbecome a radiologic technologist. This 19-monthÌýprogram includes a summer semester of courses.ÌýYou will obtain clinical experience at local healthcareÌýfacilities in addition to formal classroom instructionÌýprovided on campus.
Radiologic technologists are employed in hospitals,Ìýclinics, commercial x-ray laboratories, and physicianÌýoffices where they use radiation to produce images ofÌýthe bones and organs of the human body. In additionÌýto preparing patients and operating equipment,Ìýradiologic technologists also work with electronicÌýmedical records and may prepare exam schedules,Ìýevaluate equipment purchasesÌýor manage aÌýradiology department.
