Welding Production Technology Certificate of Achievement

Heat things up

The Welding Production Technology program preparesÌýstudents for employment in the construction,ÌýmanufacturingÌýand utilities industries. The programÌýprovides instruction in the most common manualÌýwelding and cutting processes. Training includesÌýwelding with “TIG,†“Stick,†“MIG,†and flux coredÌýwires for most common materials. Cutting is doneÌýboth manually and mechanized with plasma and oxy-fuel systems. Training is geared to provide the skillÌýbase, knowledgeÌýand professional attitude requiredÌýto eventually become a highly skilled welder.

Students in LMC's welding program train on state-of-the-art equipment at the Hanson Technology Center, the Brandywine High School or the Allegan Tech Center.

Upon completion of the listed Welding ProductionÌýTechnology certificate requirements, you will beÌýeligible for a Certificate of Achievement. This allowsÌýyou to enter the job market with basic, entry-levelÌýskills. Credit earned can be applied toward yourÌýassociate degree.
