Pharmacy Technician Advanced Certificate

The Pharmacy Technician program prepares studentsÌýfor entry-level pharmacy technician positions inÌýhospitals and retail stores. The program provides valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Upon completion of the 51-credit program, you mayÌýapply for an Advanced Certificate.

All students in the Pharmacy Technician program areÌýrequired to pass a criminal background check andÌýdrug screen prior to participating in theÌý PharmacyÌýTechnician program courses.

Students must also complete a physical exam and provide proof of the following:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Annual TB testing (PPD skin test or blood test accepted)
  • Annual influenza vaccination
