NC-SARA Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosures
As part of its membership in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv is required to determine and publicly disclose whether its academic programs leading to professional licensure or certification meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification in each U.S. state and territory. These public disclosure requirements apply to all programs, regardless of their modality (i.e., in-person, remote/online, and hybrid programs).
Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv makes every effort to ensure that the information about educational requirements for licensure or certification is current; however, state and national requirements may change at any point. Separate from academic requirements, state licensure/certification boards may require applicants to complete professional examinations, background checks, years of professional experience, residence requirements, jurisprudence exams, training, etc. If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Michigan, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate licensing/certifying entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding licensure or certification requirements before beginning an academic program. Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv will continue to update, by program, which of its programs fully meet the requirements of other states for professional licensure and/or certification.
All current and prospective students are also encouraged to connect with the applicable professional licensure/certification boards in their respective states for additional information regarding non-educational requirements for professional licensure/certification, including, but not limited to, work experience, outside agency examinations or background clearance.
The following programs of study at Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv can lead to professional licensure, certification, or endorsement in the respective field of study.
