Eric is a two-time graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. After completing his Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Sociology, Political Science, and Mathematics focuses), Eric returned home to northeast Ohio and worked as a Billing Specialist with Townhall II in Kent, Ohio, which is a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling Agency.

Eric then returned to BGSU in 2020, starting his Master of Arts in College Student Personnel. During that time, Eric worked as a Graduate Hall Director at BGSU and spent time volunteering with the Esports program as an Overwatch Coach and working with Fraternity and Sorority Life as a New Member Coach. After graduating in 2022, Eric returned to BGSU to serve as a Residence Hall Director, where he worked for 3.5 years before leaving for Â黨ÐÇ¿Õmv. During this time, Eric assisted a group of students in starting the Queer Literature Club and served as the club's first Advisor.

Eric strives to make sure each student is given the chance to feel a sense of belonging in their environment, aiming to see all elements of any student's identity. Eric loves the ways that Residence Life can help support and aid the development of residential students, inspired by the impacts that he experienced as a first-year student living on campus and then as a Resident Advisor. Eric also has passion areas related to substance abuse prevention, Hazing prevention, and supporting queer students.

Outside of work, Eric is typically playing video games, listening music, reading, or watching baseball (or some combination of everything).
