Dr. Gyl Kasewurm owns and operates one of the top audiology practicesÌýin the country. Professional Hearing Services, Ltd. is renowned for being a leader inÌýservice and technology.ÌýA national presenter and speaker on successful business, marketing and customerÌýservice practices, Gyl developed the world’s first virtual hearing center in 2003.Ìý
After attending LMC, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from AndrewsÌýUniversity, a Master of Arts from Western Michigan University and an Au.D. fromÌýCentral Michigan University.
Her professional success has been widely recognized. The American Academy ofÌýAudiology honored her with its 2007 Distinguished Achievement Award. She is alsoÌýactive in numerous professional and community organizations. In 2005, GovernorÌýJennifer Granholm appointed her to the first State Audiology Licensing Board. A
member of the American Academy of Audiology Foundation board and the LakelandÌýHealth Foundation board, she is a former member of the LMC Foundation board.ÌýShe has also participated in international and domestic missions to benefit childrenÌýwith hearing loss.
