Stephenie Henderson chose to attend LMC because of the opportunity to��pursue a degree along with playing softball and volleyball at the collegiate level on��a full scholarship. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in 1993 from LMC, the��same year that LMC won the NJCAA softball national championship. She received��her�� Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 1997 from WMU, where she��attended on a softball scholarship.

As a student-athlete, her coaches inspired her to become a coach once she was��out of college. On the baselines, she was an assistant softball coach at LMC for a��year, then a graduate assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame for two years��recruiting national-caliber athletes and planning softball camps and clinics. Her��next stop was at Loyola University Chicago where she served as head softball coach��for three years, then spent a year as the assistant softball coach at Michigan State��University recruiting and coordinating team travel.

Stephenie’s numerous honors and achievements include winning the collegiate award��for outstanding community service at Loyola for the team’s fundraising efforts for Misericordia, NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year at MSU, Horizon League��Champions at Loyola, and Big East Coaching Staff of the Year at Notre Dame.

Stephenie Henderson was awarded an Alumni Achievement Award in 2012.
